Hey Stefan, noted on your edges comment. I try to do what I think works best for each piece, I'm not always successful but generally I like to keep the focal point edges sharper than the secondary elements. Thanks again for checking in, best to you, Todd (p.s. to see some really great work and an interesting project where Stefan is painting on a coffin, click on his name above or in my links to go to his blog and see his art. Amazing and creative work.)
Always love your boat paintings! They bring me back to New England. I particularly enjoy your clean composition and details such as the aged wood. Lovely. Jeanne

Todd, I have been enjoying your boar paintings. This is my favorite.
Hey Todd!
love it...love the crisp edges on the boat and you did a really excellent portrayal of the look of shallow water.
Paint on!

Todd, this is wonderful! I love the transparency of the water, yet with so much color.

Great composition, Todd! The textures and the colors are also quite wonderful.
Kay likes the crisp edges. Here you can see how a critique is so much dependent on personal taste. I am referring to my other comment.
Cheers...Nue

Just found your blog and I love your paintings, this one is so inviting. It seems to be waiting for its owner to take it out onto the water.
Completely captivating little boat painting. The light and shadows and colors are all terrific. Way to go Todd!
