Todd, Love this piece so serene, it reminds me of a lilly pond in Stonington, Maine. Yes, I have posted again...it's been slow going. I have a chronic illness that results in chronic pain so my paintings take me awhile to complete because of it...I'm hanging in there though. A beautiful painting!
Thanks Jean. I saw the new painting of the glass jar you did and it's beautiful and was well worth the wait. Stonington is classic, moody Maine to me. Everything I'm looking for visually these days. I hope you are well. Keep cracking at that easel. All the best, Todd
Hi Allen, Thanks for your honesty, can't please 'em all I guess. I think a crop of just the Lilly pad might be a really nice composition. Onward to the easel I go my good man. regards, Todd
Hi Shirley, Thanks. Nice to hear from you. Your comments reminded me to click over to your blog and see what you are up to. Awesome work as usual. I enjoyed the post where you showed your under painting process. Good idea. As a painter, it's always fun to see how others do their magic. All my best to you, Todd
