Always a pleasure to see your boat paintings. Love the warmth inside the boats.

love this composition and the subtle color temperature shifts in the boat interiors.

Color is something I'm always battling. I'm pleased with the pure cad red on that second boat though, I think it pops. Onward I go...
Thank you both, sincerely.

Hi Todd,
There is so much about this painting that I like that it is hard to know where to begin! The subtle tones of the reflections in the water, the cast shadow in the large boat, the beauty of the changes in the water...it all works for me. Thanks for sharing this lovely painting

Hi Todd,

Thank you for your recent comment on my blog! I just looked at your blogs and website, and all I can say is WOW. Your work has such a beautiful, contemplative feeling about it. The palette and composition in this one is just gorgeous. Do you mind if we exchange links? I'd love to add you on to my site!

Thanks, and happy painting! I will check back often. --Andrea

P.S. Max and I share the same birthday! I'm sure your wife treasures such a great little portrait of him. It's wonderful!
