I like the craggy red boat; it has a lot of character and reminds me of my great Uncle. He was a firechief and during floods he could regularly be seen rowing about the town in his little boat.
Hi Todd. Beautiful contrasts here; the red of the boat, and the green of the water below. The still water in front and the soft ripples in the mid-back ground. Beautiful!

fine work. Nina
Thanks so much Nina, you're very complimentary. Always nice to hear from you. All the best,
Todd
Pretty.
:)
(very nice, Todd!)
Fantastic, how you make the colors glow. Unbelievable, in such a small size so much detail.
Jason and Stefan,
Nice to hear from both of you, thank you very much. The glow comes from some areas that are glazed or scummbled. I hope you are both well.
be good,
Todd
your recent boat/water paintings are stunning.

What I would give for a picture of your fire chief uncle rowing in his town..great imagery in my head..that would make a cool painting.
Todd.....love this one. Especially the sunlight on the boat . The color and value on the inside wall of the boat is spot on. Great job!!!
