Oil Paintings by New Hampshire seacoast artist Todd Bonita
"magnifique!" Great reflection on the water and small waves !So precise! Bravo . I wish I were able to paint this way!
Helene,Thanks so much, you are very complimentary. I'm a fan of your work as well. All the best,Todd
Fine work, Todd. This painting is almost hypnotic--great serenity and a sense of expectancy...something is about to happen. You have a great way of implying things going on beyond the picture plane.
Beautiful treatment of the water and I have to agree with Don- an incomplete narrative that leaves you wanting more.
Don and Deboarah, thanks to you both, sincerely. The "implied narrative" references you both make are likely rooted in my affection for the story-telling elements often found in illustration. I dig pictures that suggest a little something more. It makes my cerebellum tingle.
love the feeling of solitude in this piece.
Thanks Holly, I was feeling very calm when I painted it.Regards,Todd

Thank Holly,Good to hear from you again. Yeah, thats what interested me in this boat when I saw it. Hope you're well. All the best,Todd
