Hi Todd, I absolutely love this little painting. The colours are wonderful - you managed to create that ancient look in a perpect manner. I especially like this colour combination - I am fascinated myself how rust and old dirt can create wonderful patterns. Greetings from Munich again, Petra
Thanks Jason, The background was as important to me as the key..I'm glad you love it, that makes me feel good coming from an artist the caliber of yours. All the best Jason, Todd
Thanks Helen, I'm glad you noticed..I used almost every color (17) on my pallet..it doesn't look like it at first glance. Overall it's a very simple-looking pallet but there are dozens of subtle changes and dots of color.
Thanks Todd..hey, I saw one of your originals at The Diamond-Newman Gallery in Boston, it was awesome up close and live. As always, it's a pleasure to share a name with you, Best, Todd
Much appreciated coming from you Alvin..your simple compositions are filled with intense complexity in the details. I was just at your sight and the new works are incredible. Best, Todd

It came out great! Can't wait to see the finish on the car piece.
Petra, great to see your name again and thank you for the comments. I'm a sucker for aged surfaces, they give me warm nostalgic thoughts.
Thanks Frank, The Car is almost finished, I'll post as soon as it's done.
I am in love with that background texture.
In love.
