Thanks Jeffrey,

I'm painting another 10x20 version of this right now..I'm trying it in a landscape-horizontal format. I'll post when I'm done.

thanks bud, happy new year to you.

Todd - this is beautiful. The dark really puts a golden glow on the subject - WOW!

Love those blues... really sets the mood for this beautiful painting.

Thanks for noticing Diana, in person, the blue is very chromatic..it's Cerulean almost from the tube..mixed just a bit. I almost called this "Blue Bay trapper"..there is a back story that goes with this and explains why this fisherman is "blue" so-to-speak...at the show where this was hanging, a bottle of "Johnnie Walker Blue" and the story comes with it's purchase.

A wonderful painting Todd, especially love the softness in the water, and the trapper's face turned away gives it a special balance.
